There are a number of ways to contact a candidate, one of them is via an SMS text message.
You will need to ensure you have SMS Text credits before you send out any messages to candidates otherwise your candidates will not receive these. If you require any then please contact your Client Success Manager or Salesperson.
Also, you will not be able to send a message is if the candidate does not have a mobile telephone number associated to their CV / profile. If this is the case, you can add a number to the candidate’s application file using the pencil icon shown below.
If you have checked that the candidates have correct telephone numbers on their accounts, then you are ready to start the process of sending a SMS message.
Note: The candidate will not be able to reply to your text message.
1. You can create your SMS Custom Templates by selecting the ‘Email Template’ option from the 'New' drop-down menu
2. Start to create your SMS Template by adding the text title (Subject), Message Type (SMS) and your own Reference which is used to distinguish the template from others
Tip: Use the shortcodes if you so wish but keep the text as short as possible so the candidate doesn’t have to read through a lengthy text message
3. Save your changes by clicking ‘Update Template’
4. Once saved you will be able to view all your Custom SMS Templates for future use
