Welcome and thank you for using Smart Recruit Online as your hiring platform for faster, easier, low-cost recruitment!

One of the many job posting options available to you within Smart Recruit Online, is Indeed. Indeed is one of the more popular job engines, and offers a pay-per-click sponsored (paid) posting option, alongside a more limited Organic (free) option. They are fairly unique in the way they work; the setup for our customers is different from the other job posting options available in Smart Recruit Online, and requires input from you as the customer if you wish your jobs to be listed on their website.

Advantages of using Indeed via Smart Recruit Online

• Post from one place – All jobs can be created and posted from Smart Recruit Online directly, rather than having to additionally post and manage via the Indeed website.
• One-click apply - A one-click apply function allows job seekers to submit applications to online job advertisements with a single click, rather than being sent through to another site, or having to resubmit their CV. This helps reduce any “drop-off” from candidates which can be significant without a single-click process, and all candidates feed through smoothly to Smart Recruit Online (the same as for the other job boards).
• A single source of truth – All Indeed applications feed through automatically to Smart Recruit Online, in the same way as any of the other job boards, allowing easy management of your job in a single place no matter where the candidate has applied from.

Requirements

If you wish your job adverts to be posted either free or sponsored on the Indeed job engine, then:

• All job roles posted must follow the Indeed guidelines - Job Posting Best Practices - this includes job title requirements. Any job roles that do not follow these guidelines, Indeed can remove with no notice. If there are repeated breaches of these guidelines, Indeed can remove all access for your job roles on their job board.
• If you have an existing relationship with Indeed, please ensure you send the name and contact details of your Indeed Account Manager or main contact to your Smart Recruit Online Implementation Specialist or Customer Success Manager.
• Indeed only allow a single source or feed of job roles for each company to be linked with them. This means if you wish to post roles to Indeed via Smart Recruit Online, all of your roles for Indeed must come via Smart Recruit Online. Indeed will need your permission for Smart Recruit Online to take over the management of your jobs on their job board. Please send your Implementation Specialist or Customer Success Manager an email with the following text:
  • “Please take this email as confirmation that all of our free (organic) and paid (Sponsored) job posts with Indeed will be posted via the Smart Recruit Online platform” 
  • Please note, Indeed can take up to 4 weeks to get you setup on their system.
