How to Copy/Move Candidates Between Jobs

There may be times where you interview a candidate or candidates for one position, however you feel after the interview they could be right for another live position you have. Instead of asking the candidate to apply separately for the other position, you have the option to either copy or move their details across to another advert; follow this demo or the steps below to find out how.

1. From the 'Jobs' tab on the left menu, select the advert where the candidate’s original and current application sits and make note of the new job number where you want to move the candidate application to

2. Select the candidate you wish to move or copy from the original job advert

• You can select multiple candidates to move to the same job, as shown below:  

3. Inside the candidate’s profile, select the ‘Copy/Move’ button, this will open a new window

4. In this window you can add the Job Reference number you noted earlier, which is the job number you need to move the candidate to

• To select the correct job number, start your search with 'ID' and the required Job Number (see example image below)
  • In this case I want to move this candidate to ID: 21518

5. You will see the candidates name and will have the option to Copy or Move the candidate as you wish

6. Once the Job Number is in and you have selected to Move or Copy, click 'Submit' and a green banner will appear advising that your candidate has been moved successfully

7. Proceed to the advert where you copied the candidate to, and you can find the candidate in the list of candidates, they will have a 'New' status
